HLA’s First Ever E-Waste Collection Campaign Shows Great Promise

In conjunction with Earth Day 2022, HLA organised the Care For Our Planet Campaign, in collaboration with ERTH and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful (HLMT). The campaign encouraged staff to come together to recycle electronic and electrical waste in a safe and responsible manner so that these items don’t end up in landfills. Besides educating them to be more conscious of the environment, we successfully collected 350kg of e-waste in total.

After a good response to phase 1 of its e-waste campaign, HLA once again stepped up to organise the second round in collaboration with ERTH.
What a great day to start than World Environment Day on June 5! The campaign saw staff eagerly contribution laptops, desktop, smartphones and tablet as a way of not just protecting Mother Earth, but also to provide underprivileged children with devices that aid their education.
