HLA Holdings Sdn Bhd (HLAH) is wholly-owned by Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad (HLFG), the financial services arm of Hong Leong Group Malaysia and a leading provider of financial services through its subsidiaries and associate companies.
Companies under the umbrella of HLFG provide a broad spectrum of financial services, namely banking, treasury, insurance, fund management, investment banking, capital markets and stock-broking, throughout Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Our products and services are distributed via a diverse range of distribution channels from our base in Kuala Lumpur.
HLAH is the insurance holding company of the Group, consisting subsidiaries Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) Berhad and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad in Malaysia, Hong Leong Insurance (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong and HL Assurance Pte Ltd in Singapore.
To further expand its influence, HLA merged its general insurance business with MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd (MSIM) in a strategic partnership. Moving forward, the general insurance business would be provided by MSIM, while the life insurance business would continue to be provided by HLA.
With this strategic paradigm shift, HLA today is Malaysia's largest and leading domestic brands for financial wellness planning and protection solutions, specializing in life insurance solutions, and is poised to reach new horizons for its life insurance business in the coming years.
